Capital Bluffs Wedding | Hannah & Nick

Like most weekends this winter, Hannah and Nick’s big day was looking like it would be rainy and cold!  But the skies opened as the day started, the rain cleared, and we were able to make the most of their beautiful wedding day!

Hannah and Nick were married surrounded by their family and friends in the gorgeous St. Andrew Catholic Church.  The hymns were sung by some of the bride and groom’s students in the Helias choir.  They sounded angelic!  The church was accented by the warm brown tones of the pews and the maroon of the flowers and bridesmaid’s dresses.  Hannah’s dress was covered in lace and draped by a sheer veil.  The couple was right at home during the full Catholic ceremony with their best friends on either side of them sharing in their day.

Now husband and wife, the couple braved spotty rain, and we ended up with some gorgeous portraits of them.  Hannah’s veil made for some dreamy images! 

After portraits, we ventured to Capital Bluffs Event Center to spend the evening visiting with friends and family and sharing some great first dances.  The mood was light and fun, and the whole family was dancing!  Even grandma joined in!

Hannah and Nick, thank you so much for allowing me to spend your day with you.  You are so easy going and fun and had an awesome wedding party!  I hope you love your images and that they capture exactly what you remember from your day and more!  I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
