Bold and Creative Wildcliff Wedding | Blackwater, MO
With bold touches of pink and orange throughout, this styled wedding at Wildcliff Weddings and Events in Blackwater, MO was anything but subdued. The story of the day was an artist bride and architect groom joining in marriage at the cliffside venue. The day featured bold and creative accents throughout, including a smoke bomb exit and custom painted canvas for guests to sign.
The Creative Couple
Our bride and groom wore bold looks to add to the mood of the day. Heather wore a structured, form fitting gown that highlighted Jordan’s background in architecture. Her pink snake skin boots brought in her creative and adventurous side. Jordan wore a classic black tux with a woven black bow tie. His boutonnière featured accents from the florals displayed at the ceremony and reception locations.
Natural and Textured Florals
The floral displays were bold and full of texture, featuring tall grasses, roses, and an assortment of yellow, pink and burnt orange accents. Multiple arrangements accented the altar where our bride and groom stood with the water and cliffs in the background. Heather’s bouquet featured the same natural grasses and pink, orange, and yellow florals and accents. A velvet, burnt orange ribbon tied the stems together.
A Colorful Reception
Guests entering the reception space could find their names on the hanging paint brush wall. As they enter they find the table under the string lights and trees of the reception space. The meal features locally sourced roasted chicken and vegetables, fresh ciabatta, salad, and fresh peaches and grapefruit. Local ice cream is enjoyed as guests sign their names on the canvas, painted by our creative bride and groom.
The entire day was bold and adventurous. Wildcliff offers so many areas to take beautiful images, from the getting ready cottage to the lounge under the trees, and this styled wedding showed them off perfectly.
