Jefferson City Newborn Session | Baby Aaron

Newborn

I spent the morning with sweet baby Aaron and his mommy and daddy for their Jefferson City newborn session.  This was such a special session for me!  It was at my old house, the first one I bought with my husband and the home we brought OUR baby girl home to.  Mazie and Zach bought it from us almost a year ago, and when I had a piece of mail delivered there, I got to go back and visit my home!  I was nearly in tears, seriously.

After I left I received a message from Mazie asking if I did newborn photography! Um, yes!  So here we are, me doing a newborn session in the room that used to be my baby’s nursery.  It was so special to be able to capture these images for them in a home that I know will be such a perfect little place to raise their sweet baby boy.

Sweet Newborn Boy

Aaron really was THE sweetest!  He really didn’t want to fall asleep and miss all the fun so we got some great images of his big, beautiful eyes.  Towards the end of the session he just couldn’t resist momma rocking him, and he drifted off to sleep.  I made sure to get lots of pictures of him sleeping so soundly on mom and to capture every little detail of his face.

Oh how I love spending my time with new parents and their newborn, talking about life with a baby and their birth experience!  Every story is so different, and I love hearing about the joy, excitement and nervousness that each new parent has.

Zach, Mazie and Aaron, may these images be a blessing to you as you look back on the first few days together in your home, a home that I know will bring you great joy and a ton of memories!  Invite me over sometime!
