This styled wedding at Blue Bell Farm in Fayette, Missouri was such a joy to put together and truly ended up being a sight to behold! So many vendors came together to make this one of the most gorgeous afternoons, and I’m so excited for you to see the final images!
I wanted this wedding to truly embrace the bright and fresh feelings of summer. The floral design was inspired by the pinks, peaches and yellows of fresh fruits like grapefruit, lemons, pears and peaches. The custom invitation suite and signature drink menu featured an outline of the barn wedding venue and a flowing font.
The bridal gown featured a stunning deep v neckline surrounded by floral appliqués. Extra beading added to the whimsical, antique feel. Her pale blue of her shoes shows up throughout the day in the floral arrangements and on the reception table. Gold jewelry peaked through her long hair tied back in a loose, fishtail braid. Our groom wore a dark teal suit with leather suspenders and a skinny floral tie that perfectly matched the floral motif of the day.
The covered patio at Blue Bell makes for the most gorgeous ceremony location, and large floral arrangements created the perfect altar.
Outside of the barn, a cocktail hour was held by the concoction caravan. A custom drink menu displayed the available fruit and floral inspired drinks. The offerings included a fruity white wine sangria, a lemon thyme gin and tonic, a peachy grapefruit salty dog, and a classic pink lemonade. A bar cart offered tasty dessert treats including macarons, lemon bars, lemon cheesecakes and peach jam filled cupcakes. A gorgeous white 4-tier wedding cake featured cascading florals. Vintage chairs were available to sit, relax, and have a drink or sweet treat.
The color palette of the patio reception table brings the entire look together. The table cloth stands out amongst the white wood of the barn and is immediately inviting. Fresh fruit was placed amongst the gold accented glasses and candlesticks, while floral centerpieces sat upon the marigold velvet tablecloth. A peak of dusty blue in the candles, napkins and florals added the perfect accent amongst the peaches, pinks and yellows of the floral arrangements. Gold chargers and silverware add to the colorful, vintage inspired table setting.
Blue Bell Farm is truly the perfect setting for an outdoor (or indoor) patio wedding. A perfect summer time palette, florals inspired by the colors of bright citrus fruits and a cocktail hour full of signature drinks and sweet treats made this styled wedding one I won’t soon forget!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to these amazing vendors for all of their hard work for this shoot:
