Cooper’s Ridge Engagement Session| Erica and Matthew

The sun was warm and the bugs were out for Erica and Matt’s engagement session at Cooper’s Ridge in Booneville, MO! We wandered through the tall grasses for a bit before moving into the shade and walking the peaceful trail leading to a lake! The pond at Cooper’s Ridge created a serene environment right by the outdoor ceremony location, and the various trees created pockets of shade and a breeze that we were so thankful for! We captured all the dreamy, glowy images while the sun peaked in and out through the clouds and the tall grasses swayed next to us.

The couple looked fresh and summery, with Erica in a short white dress and Matt in khakis and a blue button up! They were the perfect models for me and didn’t lack affection! They snuggled and laughed perfectly and didn’t make fun of my requests too much! At the end of our session, the couple braved the heat and put on some fall inspired outfits complete with jeans and sweaters. We walked away sweating, but knowing that we created some beautiful images!

Erica and Matt, I’m so thankful to you for allowing me to photograph these special moments! It seems so far away that I’ll get to see you again on your WEDDING DAY! Until then, enjoy this exciting time in your lives. I hope that the next several months are peaceful and joyful for you and that you make the most of every moment!
