You’re in for a treat with this Jefferson City, MO Engagement Session!
Every emotion that you see in these photos is a genuine representation of Alyssa and Sara together. It was constant laughter and allllll the kisses. These two know how to have a good time, and a photoshoot was no exception! I hardly had to talk to them at all!
When I asked how the proposal went down, I wasn’t expecting the answer I got! They were BOTH planning on proposing at literally the SAME TIME. Sara beat Alyssa to the punch though. While they were visiting a park in Columbia, a park they had visited when they first started dating, Sara presented a book of photos to Alyssa. These photos represented their relationship so far, and at the end, a poem Sara had written, asking Alyssa to take her name, along with a ring. Alyssa of course said yes, because little did Sara know, Alyssa ALSO had a ring in her pocket for Sara! Alyssa’s plan was not quite as glamorous as Sara’s, she admitted. She was simply going to pop the question and show her the ring! Everything worked out well in the end. Either way, I wish I could have seen the looks on both of their faces at that moment in time.
I couldn’t imagine a more perfect proposal story for these two, honestly. You can just see that they are FOR each other, two peas in a pod, inseparable. As we left Sara mentioned how many days were left before the wedding, stating, “I know because she writes it in Cool Whip on my waffles every morning.” That doesn’t surprise me one bit. I, too, am counting down until I get to spend all day capturing the laughs, kisses, and memorable moments between these two.
