Taos, MO Engagement session | Sam & Kara

Ahh these two!  Such a fun session driving around in the Gator on Kara’s family’s farm, looking for the dreamiest spots to take gorgeous pics while family members teased us from the back porch!  I love the bright, dreaminess of Sam and Kara’s pictures and the playful reactions I got from them!  Here’s what they had to say after their fun session was over:

Amanda was soo much fun to work with for our engagement pictures! My partner and I are very awkward with pictures and were unsure how to pose or what to do with our hands – but, Amanda provided instruction and ideas on how we could make sure that our pictures would turn out flawless! I CANNOT wait for her to shoot our wedding in September!

After we visited the farm, we found ourselves in a giant field by a lake (gorg!) and took more beautiful pictures!  The spot is meaningful to the girls and I was so happy they let me visit for a little while!  I told them they may randomly see me running through the field sometime….no big deal.  

Their Engagement

Here’s a little more about Sam and Kara’s engagement story – as a fellow Game of Thrones fan – I too, am happy Kara “bent the knee”!

My partner proposed to me one night after I got home from work – she had written me a note explaining her love for me, bought me my favorite chocolate and flowers as well as the 7th season of Game of Thrones! 🙂 After receiving my gift, I went looking for her. I found her downstairs (where she was supposedly re-organizing our belongings) – as I walked down the stairs, there she was. On her knee. She was soo nervous and shaking with adrenaline. I think I said yes before she could even get the actual proposal out of her mouth! I am beyond excited to share my future with her!

I’m so excited to see these two again in September for their wedding!  I love witnessing and being able to capture a one-of-a-kind love.  I hope you enjoy the gorgeous pictures we captured from their session!
