Ha Ha Tonka Engagement Session | Brittany and Josh

Couples

I met up with Brittany and Josh for their Ha Ha Tonka Engagement session and instantly felt their light hearted and playful love! Brittany grew up in Camdenton, and wanted to capture the location where her family visited often. We walked around the castle ruins, looking for pretty light and trying to avoid all the visitors on the gorgeous fall evening!

The trees were just starting to change color and it was just chilly enough to be comfortable in a sweater! The perfect fall weather for a cozy engagement session!

Here is a little summary of Brittany and Josh’s love story:

They officially began dating on Thanksgiving day in 2014. Four years later on Thanksgiving 2018, Brittany was resting after cooking Thanksgiving dinner for her and Josh’s family. Brittany was, in her words, a sweaty mess! When Josh knelt down, Brittany thought he was just helping her with her aching feet! But he was doing something much more important, proposing to Brittany! It was then that they knew they just had to have a fall wedding!

I just love their story, from their similar interest in music that brought them together, to their funny personalities that compliment each other so well!

Brittany and Josh, I hope you love your photos! I can’t wait for your wedding in a month!

xoxo, Amanda

  2. […] As we took bridal party photos, a deer ran right behind the bride, which she took as a sign that this day was meant to be. Brittany was fierce as we took bride and groom portraits in the venue’s outdoor area and field out back. It was cold, but these two knew just what to do since we just had their Ha Ha Tonka Engagement Session! […]
