This bold, colorful and bright styled shoot at the new Mercantile Event Center has pops of coral, peach and yellow throughout the gorgeous bouquet, floral arrangements and custom invitation suite. Accents of gold graced the tables, and vintage furniture and decor allowed for the perfect place to capture unique and creative portraits of our newly married real life couple.
The new Mercantile Event Center in quaint downtown Booneville, MO boasts an open floor plan with a large store front window, a neutral color palette and gorgeous central chandeliers. The possibilities for decor and layout are endless.
Our bride wore a gown covered in ornate beading and a floor length veil. The gold in her hair piece matched the accents that made up the table decor. The groom wore a unique emerald green tux and a boutonniere with the same coral and pink flowers that filled the bouquet.
The custom invitation suite featured hand drawn calligraphy that matched the whimsy of the day. A vintage dresser held the cake, bordered with gold and hand painted watercolor pink. The tables were filled with gold accents, colorful floral designs, and custom hand written name plates.
The entire day was bright, bold, and whimsical. An almost “tropical holiday” theme that lit up the cold and dreary Missouri day outside the venue. There is potential for some gorgeous weddings to take place at this newly renovated space! I can’t wait to watch it grow!

Beautiful photos! Love your style! Curious what lens(es) are you shooting with?
Hey Laurel! So for most of these I was using my 35 mm prime. I also frequently use my 50 and 85 as well! Thank you! So good to hear from you!
